What a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We highly recommend booking a sailing trip on Dennis and Alison's catamaran to explore the length of Lake Clark -- a pristine wilderness of unimaginable beauty. Jenny PahysThis is an exceptional experience! Dennis and Allison think of everything you need to be more than cozy about their well appointed catamaran. Our family of 5 (two adults, three teenagers) slept well in their spacious beds and were spoiled for three days on Lake Clark. Dennis arranged a bush plane to take us to Katmai from the catamaran - being picked up at the boat by a plane was a celebrity moment! feasting on delicious meals and carefully crafted lunches (my husband has a nut allergy) with the generous and kind crew was another highlight. I cannot recommend this experience enough! there is no better way to experience Lake Clark than on a Sailing Lake Clark adventure!Posted on Google
Michael EldridgeOur three-day adventure sailing on Lake Clark was nothing short of extraordinary. If you’re looking for a truly unique Alaska experience, this is it. Every day brought something unforgettable. We fished for trophy-sized Arctic grayling in crystal-clear waters, hiked to multiple breathtaking waterfalls that rival those we’ve seen on Kauai, and were surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable. The rugged mountains rising straight from Lake Clark reminded me of the Nā Pali Coast—wild, dramatic, and absolutely magnificent. What I’ll remember most, though, were the evenings. As the sun settled over the mountains, the changing light painted the landscape in a way that left me speechless. It was one of those rare places where you find yourself hoping the day never ends because the beauty is simply overwhelming and I have lived in Alaska for 42 years and this never gets old. The sailing itself made the journey even more special, allowing us to experience Lake Clark from a perspective that very few people ever will. Every moment felt peaceful, adventurous, and completely immersed in Alaska’s wilderness. I can’t say enough positive things about this trip. It exceeded every expectation and is, without question, one of the most memorable adventures we’ve ever had. If you’re considering this excursion, don’t hesitate—you’ll leave with unforgettable memories and an even greater appreciation for the incredible beauty of Alaska.Posted on Google

Dennis and his team provided customized A+ service, great food and wonderous adventure by arranging all types of thoughtful excursions while providing a safe, clean, comfortable and fun environment. We sailed, discovered wildlife and hiked the peaks all while working with top expert guides and equiptment. We will never forget flying to Katmai NP or Tourquoise and Twin Lakes, fishing for Pike and hiking the surrounding mointians. By the end of the 12 day extravaganza sailing the amazing Odesey, Dennis and team had not only provided an unforgetable lifetime experience they had become part of our group. Claire GrazziniThe experience on the catamaran was unmatched. 5 star service when it came to everything (food, guides, activities). Our guides, Kirk and Kathy, were more than happy to accommodate our food allergies which was a major plus being in such a remote place. The boat was spacious and everything was well thought out. Beds were comfortable, we had plenty of food, games and things to keep us busy. Don’t hesitate to book with The Fowlers. You won’t regret it.

A memorable, magical way to explore the spectacular beauty of Lake Clark What a spectacular way to discover the beauty of Lake Clark! The catamaran was large and comfortable (loved the beanbag chairs near the bow), our hosts (Dennis and Alison) were thoughtful and friendly and the experience was magical. Laura TWonderful experience We spent 3 wonderful days on Odyssey with Sailing Lake Clark. It was the best part of our Alaska vacation. The crew was so helpful and knowledgeable, the food was amazing, and setting was beautiful. Every day we sailed to a different location, all of them were in the wilderness. Leon JTrip of a lifetime! Wow! This was the trip of a lifetime! Dennis and his first mate went to extraordinary links to ensure our safety and fun. Each day presented it self a unique Alaskan adventure. The vessel is beautiful and comfortable. Chris HLake Clark at its best! What an adventure! If you’re going to visit Lake Clark NP, this is a great way to explore and see its namesake. We did a day trip into the evening with a delicious dinner and desert served by Allison. Dennis is a super captain and even with choppy waters, the Odyssey is really stable. Andrew RNew favorite way to experience my backyard. I have spent a lot of time on Lake Clark with it's amazing natural wilderness type beauty but I think this is my new favorite way to do it. No noisy motors, no peril of big waves and wind. On the oddesy, wind is your friend and you just get to be there and enjoy the moment in comfort and style. I love the technical aspect of sailing too. The captain let me help with various things and was generous with his knowledge of sailing. It was so much fun and a highlight of my summer.Posted on Tripadvisor
Matthew GA great evening! I spent an evening on the Odyssey with friends and had a great time. We had the opportunity to participate in adjusting the sails. It was a beautiful evening of sailing and taking in the views of Lake Clark.
