A day with the bears
Brooks Camp gives you a chance to spend time watching brown bears along the Brooks River and at the falls. There is plenty to take in, from salmon working their way upstream to the different ways the bears go about catching them.
Your visit begins with the park’s bear-safety orientation. Trails and viewing platforms let you explore the area, with the bears setting the pace. Sightings vary, and sometimes everyone waits while a bear goes about its day.

Your floatplane comes to you
There’s something pretty special about having a floatplane arrive where your yacht is anchored to pick you up for a day adventure. We can arrange pickup at Odyssey’s anchorage when conditions allow, then welcome you back aboard after your outing.
We coordinate with the independent flight operator on the pickup location, timing, and how the day fits with your sailing plans. Flights depend on weather, suitable landing conditions, and the operator’s availability.
